"BUS" Cabin, American Bay

  • One of the island's three "cabins", it serves as a refuge for multi-day scientific outings away from the base and as a relay point for outings to multiple sites.

  • A small haven of peace situated directly on the beach, this cabin is the most accessible of the three on the island.

  • Almost all programs organize trips for various reasons (albatross monitoring, bird inventory, botanical inventories, logistics, etc.)
